Antonio Conte rocked as Bayern Munich hijack transfer: Chelsea had offered three-year deal

Chelsea Transfer News: Bayern Munich willing to meet Miralem Pjanic release clause GETTY
RELEASE CLAUSE: Bayern Munich are willing to pay the £31m (€40m) needed to land Miralem Pjanic
Pjanic is on incoming boss Antonio Conte's wish list and reports in Italy last month suggested the 26-year-old has been offered a three-year deal.
Roma are desperate to keep Pjanic but he is available for £31m (€40m) due to a buyout clause in his contract, which expires in 2018.
Bayern Munich are also keen on Pjanic and Fichajes claim the German giants are ready to meet the release fee.
Carlo Ancelotti replaces Manchester City-bound Pep Guardiola at Bayern in the summer and he reportedly views Pjanic as a major target.
Pjanic has enjoyed a cracking season in Serie A, bagging nine goals and 10 assists in 31 games.
Roma president James Pallotta has shot down suggestions the Bosnia-Herzegovina international could be off this summer.
"There’s a lot of paper talk about players leaving, like Pjanic," Pallotta said.
"I rule that out categorically, he doesn’t want to leave and we won’t sell him.
"Even just talking about it hurts the team, I’m tired of these rumours."
Starsport understand Chelsea are targeting a number of Roma stars with Radja Nainggolan and Kostas Manolas also wanted.
